| Artist selected for Motherwell College artwork |

Motherwell College has selected artist Oliver Barratt’s design proposal for a sculpture for the plaza of its new campus at Ravenscraig due to open in October 2009. The commission will be a permanent site-specific artwork reflecting the aspirations of the college, its staff and students. The commission attracted almost 100 artists who responded to an open invitation to express interest in the commission which has been managed by Art in Partnership.
